Sector Councils
Sector councils and associations are the bodies that give governance and/or leadership to the range of professions that make up the workforce. Both kinds of governing bodies have encountered an increasingly complex set of challenges in this decade.
Changing demographics, increased immigration and the rapid pace of technological advancement combine to add pressure for solutions. Organizations need skilled workers who can either “hit the ground running” or quickly “come up to speed”.
Employees need to take responsibility to get certified or licensed so that they can grow with their organizations.
